Art and Other Products
Due to variables beyond our control, item color depictions may vary on different computer, tablet, or phone screeens. We include pertinent information about all art work and other items found on our website. Additional information is available by request.
Online Purchases
We offer some items for sale directly online. Please read our sales policies for the various types of items we offer.
The Mata Ortiz line of handmade pottery offers unique items made by some of the many artisans from the small village of Mata Ortiz in Mexico. All Mata Ortiz pottery is handmade and one-of-a-kind, but you may find some items marked as out of stock. Some of the artisans specialize in certain shapes and decoration styles, so we are able to buy very similar pieces from year to year. Therefore those items may become available again at a later date. You are invited to contact us to get on a waiting list for those pieces. These pot are fairly delicate, and therefore require special shipping and handling in order to deliver undamaged. The cost of this shipping is reflected in the checkout process. All items are fully insured and shipped FOB Santa Barbara, CA via UPS. Customers are responsible for making any claims for damaged items. Please allow 2-3 weeks to receive any pottery items.
IMPORTANT: The pots are decorative-only and not water safe. The pots come with clay rings wrapped in black yarn, or black metal stands to display the the pot with. If a pot sits upright without a ring or stand, the buyer may prefer the esthetics of using neither. Some of the smallest pots come without rings.
The Giclee prints offered on the site are printed on demand. These are archival quality prints of previous work by our gallery artists. They are shipped flat directly from the printer. If your print is delivered with any damage, please document the damage and contact the gallery to remedy the issue. Please be aware that once an item is submitted to the printer for processing the order cannot be cancelled.
We accept Amex, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards for online payment. These payments are securely processed by our credit card processor Stripe. We do not store any credit card information on our servers other than the last 4 digits of your card number for reference purposes.
